With 20 years experience in many varieties of graphics roles from User Experience and User Interface design for the Defence industry to 3D art for training simulations to Graphic Design for print, there’s not much I haven’t done.

With proven ability to collaborate effectively with stakeholders, including SMEs, clients, users, system engineers, and software developers to design unified and functional user journeys.

Skilled in maintaining meticulous design aesthetic, strong interpersonal skills, investigation and critical analysis.

Driven by the desire to provide the best overall user experience through a mixture of innovative and consistent, user-centric designs.

During my tenure at Consunet, I led the design process for a critical application now in use within the Defence sector. While many details of this project remain classified, the available public information offers insights into the scope and impact of this work. As the sole UI/UX Designer, I played an integral role from start to finish, collaborating with System Engineers to gather requirements from clients, users, and Subject Matter Experts (SMEs).

My responsibilities extended beyond mere layout design; they included developing intuitive workflows, identifying user pain points, and presenting concepts to stakeholders. This holistic approach ensured that the final system not only met functional requirements but also provided an exceptional user experience.

In addition to major project involvement, I also contributed to Consunet’s visual communications. Working alongside their Visual Communications Lead, I assisted in designing and laying out various print materials such as the Capability Statement, banners, business cards, displays, and LinkedIn job advertisements.

Furthermore, I created numerous icons, logos, and other essential graphical elements required for the projects. These contributions underscored my versatility as a designer and commitment to ensuring all aspects of a project align seamlessly under a cohesive creative vision.

What is shown is not an actual logo that I worked on while at Consunet, but it is designed using the same method as I used to create the logo for a project that I worked on during my tenure.

At AugiSoft, one of my significant projects involved creating a comprehensive 3D store environment using 3DS Max for the Dick Smith online training course. This project aimed to provide new sales associates with an immersive learning experience. I was responsible for crafting nearly all components within the virtual store, including detailed product displays and interactive elements, with only a few purchased objects. Additionally, I handled all aspects of video editing, animations, and special effects to ensure the final course delivered high-quality visuals and an engaging user experience.

Another notable project during my tenure at AugiSoft was the creation of induction videos for the Castrol brand. These two videos were designed in 3DS Max, featuring a mix of purchased and custom-made objects, with all video editing, animations, and special effects handled by me. The goal was to provide new employees with an engaging and informative introduction to the company, leveraging high-quality visuals and dynamic content to enhance their onboarding experience.

For projects involving Capital Finance and Macquarie Finance, my role focused on developing graphics and UI design for their online training platforms. I created all the visual elements, including backgrounds in 3DS Max, contributing to a cohesive and visually appealing learning environment. My involvement also extended to designing avatars, ensuring that each platform offered a polished and engaging user experience tailored to the specific needs of these financial institutions.

One of my key initiatives at DealerCell was the redesign of the main finance platform’s UI, enhancing its functionality and visual appeal for users. Additionally, I conceptualized the Project Library platform, a UI design idea aimed at streamlining the organization and management of business image libraries and prototyping needs. Although this innovative platform was not developed, it demonstrated my ability to think strategically about improving workflow efficiency and user experience within digital environments.
